1. Does water leak out of these bags?
Yes water does leak out of these bags, but only the excess water runs out. Required amount of water stays inside and this unique fabric holds a little extra within it. Geo fabric bags are ideal for plants’ proper growth and undoubtedly the best ones for it.
2. How long do fabric grow bags last?
Grow bags are predicted to last 7 to 8 seasons, but with good care, they can last for much longer.
3. Are fabric pots better than traditional pots?
Yes, they are. Due to features like air breathability, air pruning, moisture control and other benefits they give better growth to the plants .
4. Are fabric pots eco-friendly?
These pots are made from plastic bottles which otherwise would have increased the burden on nature. The traditional pots are not recyclable and add to the waste in the ecosystem.
5. Are these pots washable ?
This is one of the most unique feature of these pots . You can easily wash them but with gentle care.
6. Can I stack these pots in a box when not in use ?
Yes these pots are made of fabric and can be easily folded and conveniently stored anywhere — be it in a box, cupboard or a shelf. They occupy very little space.
7. Do Grow bags need saucers?
Since grow bags are so porous and drain fast, they do need more frequent watering than a plastic container. If you use them indoors be sure to put them on a large saucer to contain any leakage.
8. Can you bury fabric pots?
You can bury our pots, but they will not deteriorate. Being underground will not negatively affect anything.
9. What kind of soil should I use for fabric pots?
You can use natural soil but it is advisable to use heavy mix potting media, which contains about 50% soil and 50% compost. This gives you excellent moisture holding capabilities, keeps the media loose, and allows rapid root growth too.
10. Which is better fabric grow bags or plastic pots?
During the heat of summer and in direct sunlight, plastic pots can get quite hot. Since they are not breathable, they trap all the heat which can cook your plants. Grow bags regulate temperature due to their breathable quality. Excess heat can escape from all sides of the grow bag
